About Ghalem


Ghalem was born in the beautifull city of Oran, Algeria, in October 14th, 1980. He came to Toulouse to continue his graduate studies.
He received the  Research Master's Degree from the "Paul Sabatier University" (University of Toulouse III), Toulouse, France, in June 2006.
From October 2006 to April 2011, he was a Ph.D. student and a half time teaching assistant at the Institut de Recherche en Informatique de Toulouse Laboratory (IRIT) and  "Paul Sabatier University" in Toulouse, France.
Since Mai 2011, he is a post-doc at the Grenoble Institute of Technology. He carries out his researches with Martin Heusse and Andrzej Duda professors at the Grenoble Institute of Technology.


Research Interests


Ghalem's  research interests are in the field of wireless and mobile networks, particularly in Mobile Ad-Hoc Networks (MANETs). During his PhD, he is working on  designing MAC protocols for QoS provisioning in MANETs. He is also interested in the design and performance evaluation of architectures and protocols for Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) and Wireless Mesh Networks (MWN).
